Strategic Partnerships & Business Development

Scott’s work across GE Appliances, Stanley Black & Decker, and Groupe SEB has been marked by a consistent ability to identify and execute on strategic partnerships that unlock growth. He has led or been directly involved in business development efforts ranging from M&A to global licensing agreements and has helped shape long-term product and portfolio strategy in several high-growth categories.

At Stanley Black & Decker and Groupe SEB, Scott helped build partnerships that expanded distribution and accelerated innovation—ranging from retailer exclusives to co-branded development programs. While at GE Appliances, he ideated and drove partnerships with external firms to offer consumers an eco-system of ancillary products and services to enhance the usage of their GE products. This not only enhanced the consumer experience, but increased speed to market and drove significant value creation for all parties.

Innovation & Marketing

Throughout his career, Scott has led the development of breakthrough products and launched them with impact. At GE Appliances, he played a key role in bringing to market the the GE Profile Smart Mixer, the GE Profile Smart Indoor Smoker and the Café Specialty Grind & Brew Coffee Maker—products that redefined their categories by marrying advanced technology with consumer insight. At Groupe SEB, he led the launch of hybrid garment care innovations like the IXEO steamer system, blending design and performance in ways that elevated the brand’s market position. Earlier, at Black & Decker, his work in energy-saving tools and cordless lawn care helped future-proof core categories while meeting the demands of evolving consumers.

Scott pairs product development expertise with a deep understanding of brand and marketing strategy. He’s led integrated campaigns that span advertising, digital, and in-store execution and has consistently brought forward ideas informed by consumer insights and market trends. From brand building to go-to-market planning, Scott knows how to launch products and programs that drive demand and deliver business results.

Scott’s early career in public relations and strategic communications gave him a powerful foundation in messaging, positioning, and storytelling. He also shares his knowledge as a guest lecturer at Johns Hopkins University, where he contributes to the product development curriculum.
